Semester 4
Semester 4 was a valuable learning experience where I explored how architecture can serve both people and the environment. In Architecture Design 4, I focused on designing a community structure based on detailed site analysis to understand the local context. Advanced Architecture Construction taught me about Malaysia’s Industrialised Building System (IBS) and how to create detailed construction drawings. In Sustainable Living, I worked on a group proposal to prevent flooding in a kampung in Kuala Lumpur, showing how design can respond to real-life challenges. Lastly, Green Strategies Building Design introduced me to green architecture and sustainable design methods. This semester helped me grow as a designer by combining creativity, technical knowledge, and environmental awareness.
